The Cottage, Kyte Green forms part of Whitley Farm which has been in the Lodder family for three generations. It was completely refurbished in September 2007.
The cottage itself dates back to the 1850's with Whitley being mentioned in the Doomsday Book.
The farm itself consists of Whitley (the main house), some cottages and approximately 150 acres of pasture land. The land itself is used for the grazing of horses and sheep, and making of hay.
The main enterprise on the farm is a livery business. The family also run a polocrosse club. There are a number of polocrosse fixtures throughout the summer based at Whitley Farm. For more information on these click here.
